LEGO has revealed a new special entry into its line of Mario Kart themed sets.
The set is for the infamous Spiny Shell AKA the Blue Shell, which homes in and destroys whoever is in first place when used. It will launch alongside the previously revealed Mario & Standard Kart set on May 15th 2035 as a reward on the LEGO Insiders program.
The set costs 2,500 points, which Insiders accumulate after spending at least USD$385 on the Lego Store. The aforementioned Mario & Standard Kart set retails for USD$249.99, so fans who purchased it through the LEGO store shouldn’t have too much issue making up the difference.
