Today, Uniqlo and The Pokemon Company announced the results of the Pokemon UTGP 2019 (Uniqlo T-shirt Grand Prix 2019) competition.
Over 18,000 submissions were received by Uniqlo for this competition, and the 24 most outstanding designs judged by The Pokemon Company President Tsunekazu Ishihara, Game Freak designer Ken Sugimori, and Uniqlo creative director NIGO have been made into official Uniqlo Pokemon T-shirts that will be released worldwide starting from June 24, 2019.
The best T-shirt designed by Li Wen Pei featuring Gyarados and Magikarp has also been made into a T-shirt that will appear in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
The designs are as follows:
All men and women T-shirts will retail for 1500 yen / USD14.99, while all kids T-shirts will retail for 990 yen / USD9.99.
