Limited Run Games Reveals Yooka-Laylee Classic Edition [Update]

Limited Run Games is giving their switch physical release of Yooka-Laylee a shot of nostalgia!

After some delays, the publisher finally unveiled a ‘classic edition’ collector’s set for the game – at a price point of $74.99! The set will contain:

• Yooka-Laylee physical game for the Nintendo Switch. Region Free
• Full-color retro-style manual
• An 18 x 24 inch poster
• A CD soundtrack featuring all of the incredible music from the game
• A non-functional retro cartridge (for display only)

Only 3000 copies of this set be available when it goes live for preorder here this Friday, September 7 (10am ET). A standard edition of the game without most of these extras will also go up for open preorder here, at the same time and date.

Additionally, backers of the original Kickstarter campaign will receive a discount code for the game that will work throughout September 7. Backers of the campaign’s N64 box tier will also get early-access to order the collector’s edition at a ‘substantial discount’.
