Famitsu has published the Japanese video game sales data for October 27 to November 3, 2019.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 has come out with a very strong debut. The game debuted at second place on the charts with 156,490 copies sold. It was only beaten by Persona 5: The Royal, which sold 201,448 copies.
Another Nintendo Switch game that arrived last week was Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The game debuted No. 5 with 19,438 copies sold.
Now time for hardware sales. Nintendo Switch Lite has finally overtaken Nintendo Switch in terms of weekly sales. The Switch Lite moved 66,272 units, as compared to the Switch’s 53,125 units. The Nintendo Switch family of systems collectively sold over 119,000 systems in one week. This is certainly a strong week for the Nintendo Switch, which could be attributed to the launch of Luigi’s Mansion 3.
