Snap Finger Click, the makers of Act It Out! and It’s Quiz Time, have announced Awkward for Nintendo Switch.
Awkward is a party game featuring over 5000 questions from topics such as food to debate-provoking issues, designed to test how much family and friends really know each other. It can be played among a group by passing the Joy-Con to the next person.
The game will be released on the Nintendo eShop on June 19, 2018 for £9.99 / €12,99 EUR / $11.99 USD. Check out the trailer and more details below.
Designed to test how much friends and family really know about each other, Awkward features over 5,000 questions (written by Jackbox and Buzz! series talent) that must first be answered by one player, before another attempts to correctly guess how they responded. The questions vary from trivial matters about food and pop culture to, in the game’s final round, several debate-provoking issues.
Awkward can be played locally by passing the controller, by between one and six players, or streamed via Twitch, YouTube or Mixer, for audiences of up to 500,000 concurrent viewers to play along. (Please note that there is currently no streaming functionality for the Nintendo Switch version of Awkward.)
