Majority Of Japanese Gamers Want A Nintendo Switch

In the latest issue of the Weekly Famitsu, the magazine revealed the results of a recent poll they conducted with their readers. The poll asked 724 readers which gaming hardware they are planning to purchase in the near future next, and here are the results:

Nintendo Switch – 123
PlayStation 4 Pro – 62
PlayStation 4 – 41
“Other” – 32
New Nintendo 2DS LL – 23
Xbox One X – 20
PlayStation Vita – 16
New Nintendo 3DS – 9
Xbox One S – 9

No plans – 389

As you can see the Switch has a huge chunk of interest among gamers, which is no surprise given that the Switch is still selling like hotcakes in Japan. Hopefully its momentum will continue into 2018.
