CERO, the age ratings agency in Japan, has updated the age rating for Metal Max Xeno Reborn in Japan.
Previously, Metal Max Xeno had a CERO C rating, meaning it could only be played by those ages 15 and up. But now for the Switch version Metal Max Xeno Reborn, the rating has been revised to CERO D, meaning the game is only recommended to players ages 17 and up.
It is unclear why such a change was made. Other changes in the Switch version include changes to the battle system, graphics, tank performance, scenarios that were not well received, music, and new minions.
