Metroid Prime Lead Programmer Passes Away At Age 47

Today we have some unfortunate news to share with fans of the Metroid Prime series.

Andrew O’ Neil, lead programmer for the first Metroid Prime, has passed away at age 47. He worked at Retro Studios and later founded Bluepoint Games, a studio that worked on major games such as Metal Gear Solid and God of War.
