Warner Bros. has announced they will be delaying the release of the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot movie.
As reported by Deadline, Mortal Kombat will now be premiering on April 23rd in theaters and on HBO Max, one week after its originally scheduled release date. According to Deadline, this is because Warner Bros. aims to give more Godzilla VS King Kong more time in the spotlight, since the highly anticipated monster film is poised net some of the highest domestic earnings since the pandemic started.
