Motion Sensing Pokemon Wallpapers Revealed For Google’s Pixel 4 Smartphone

A few weeks ago, we reported on the “Pokemon Wave Hello” demo app for Google’s Pixel 4, which allows you to interact with virtual Pokemon using hand gestures and motion sensor technology.

Today, during a press event in Japan, Google revealed some new information about the demo app as well as its applications. As seen in the footage, Pixel 4 users will apparently be able to set these interactable Pokemon as their phone wallpapers in addition to playing with them via the app.

Furthermore, Google also announced plans to have “Pokemon Wave Hello” be released in Japan sometime in 2020.  That said, the application is still waiting for approval, so we advise readers not to get too excited just yet. It is not confirmed whether the app willalso launch in other countries.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.

Thanks Brandon.
