My Nintendo Store Japan has announced the results for the third Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order lottery on June 2, 2025.
According to survey results conducted on social media, 13.7% of those who applied for the standalone console (Japanese-Language System) secured a set, and 14.9% and 62.2% secured the Mario Kart World set (Japanese-Language System) and standalone Multi-Language System respectively.
For comparison’s sake, these success rates are higher than the second lottery (8.1%, 9.7%, 49.7%) but lower than the first lottery (24.6%, 25.3%, 56.7%).
In addition, registrations for the fourth lottery are being accepted from June 3 to June 11, 2025 11am Japan time, with results to be sent out from the afternoon of June 17, with the consoles expected to be delivered on July 4. Those who failed to secure a set in the third lottery will be automatically enrolled into the fourth lottery.
