Earlier this week, Nintendo started distributing leaflets to promote Nintendo Switch Online, scheduled to launch in Hong Kong on April 23.
Besides the fact that the company will stop adding new NES/Famicom games to the service in the future, Twitter user @Akfamilyhome has discovered a URL, “https://store.nintendo.com.hk”. was printed on the leaflet. Although the website isn’t live yet, this seems to indicate plans that Nintendo will open a My Nintendo Store in Hong Kong. The words above the URL are “official Nintendo Hong Kong store”.
My Nintendo Store first launched in Japan in 2017, and later opened in various European countries in 2018. My Nintendo Store offers exclusive products, games, and other merchandise for sale.
