Natsume president and CEO, Hiro Maekawa, has a New Year’s message for their fans.
On New Year’s day, Maekawa announced that Natsume is currently at work to deliver several new titles in 2019 and beyond. Maekawa also revealed that Natsume will be announcing these titles in the near future.
We are currently working on several new titles that will be announced in the near future, to continue to please our worldwide fans in 2019 and beyond.
These came after the publisher expressed its sincere appreciation to all fans for the continued support. Interestingly, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope has performed well beyond expectations and has set a new record high in terms of sales.
Last year, 2018 was one of the best years for us in recent history.
We released our latest entry in the Harvest Moon franchise, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition in May for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The title performed well beyond our forecast and even set new sales record with the number of both physical and digital combined.
It’s no wonder the publisher would like to reward fans with more “exciting and interactive entertainment software.”
