Niantic has broadcasted a legal notice concerning the Pokemon GO Fest 2017 class action settlement to all Pokemon GO trainers on their smartphones.
The legal notice informs users that they may be entitled to receive a payment from a class action settlement if they attended Pokemon GO Fest in Chicago on July 22, 2017. The court ruled in favor of the consumers as the event was plagued by lots of problems.
To settle the claims, Niantic has agreed to paid USD1,575,000, which will be distributed among those who decide to claim their share of the settlement. As there were about 10,000 claims, each participant can expect to claim about USD100. Full details can be found here.
