Niantic Teases More Team GO Rocket Content For Pokemon GO

Earlier this week we reported on a cryptic post from the Pokemon GO Facebook page regarding a “suspicious folder” discovered on Professor Willow’s computer.

Today, the Pokemon GO Twitter account has posted a series of follow-up images about the contents of this “suspicious folder”. While most had originally assumed the tease had something to do with Rotom, it appears that the folder is instead a lead-up to more Team GO Rocket content.

The glitched files feature Team Rocket’s distinctive “R” logo along with three new characters that we have not seen before in the franchise. Check them out below:

With these new images, fans are now speculating that these may be more high ranking “lieutenant” characters for Team GO Rocket, which is a common feature in the mainline Pokemon games. We will be sure to report back once more details surface from official sources.
