Nintendo Osaka and Universal Studios Japan have announced temporary closures due to the approaching typhoon in Japan.
Typhoon Lan (Number 7), a powerful cyclone, is approaching the region of Japan where the store and theme park are located, and the decision has been made to temporarily close them for safety. Both Nintendo Osaka and Universal Studios Japan (the location of Super Nintendo World) will be closed on 15th August 2023, with plans to resume operations the following day depending on prevailing weather conditions.
Fans who were intending on visiting these places may wish to take note of the closures, and be prepared for further disruptions until the typhoon passes.
