Nintendo Releases Mortal Kombat 11: Kitana vs. Scorpion Video, But Shows Minimal Gameplay

Nintendo has released a video promoting Mortal Kombat 11 but these fighters get very little in-game screen time.

With Mortal Kombat 11 releasing in just a few weeks, the hype for this game is building.

Here’s the description of Nintendo’s 30 second trailer for the game.

Find your way to play with Mortal Kombat 11 on the Nintendo Switch system. Mortal Kombat 11 is the latest installment in the critically acclaimed franchise, providing a deeper and more personalized experience than ever before.

But fans in the comments were less than thrilled.

“Hey, lets show 0.5 seconds of gameplay a few days before release”
5 seconds of gameplay that isn’t official footage. 25 seconds of two people staring at each other. ?
That was just two people looking at each other

The first 14 seconds are a cinematic scene of Kitana and Scorpion meeting each other on the battleground.

And then we get 2 seconds of the actual game shown on a pair of Switches.

2 players then face each other but all see their faces as the fight ensues on their Switches.

That makes up the next 13 seconds of the video so the direction of this episode seems to be unexpected for people who wanted to see gameplay.

What do you think about this Mortal Kombat 11 video? Let us know in the comments.
