Nintendo Says They Have Nothing To Share About Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4 And Bayonetta 3 Right Now

As many fans know, Nintendo has a handful of highly anticipated titles in development including The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4, and Bayonetta 3.

Although they were announced quite some time ago, the company itself has been fairly quiet about them for the most part. Breath Of The Wild 2 has so far only received a first-look trailer, while most progress updates about Metroid Prime 4 and Bayonetta 3 have to be gleaned from Retro Studios’ job listings and Platinum’s Hideki Kamiya’s brief comments respectively.

In an interview with Polygon, Nintendo Of America President Doug Bowser was asked directly whether he could reveal any updates about these three titles. Unfortunately, Bowser could only say that he had nothing to share at this point, and the community will receive an update when “it’s the right moment”.

You can read the full exchange below:

Polygon: I realize there’s very little you could probably say about these titles, but there have been a few titles that have essentially gone super radio silent. I wanted to see if there’s anything you can share regarding their status. Specifically: Bayonetta 3Metroid Prime 4, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.

Doug Bowser: You’ve followed Nintendo long enough to know that as we progress on any title, and we deem it’s the right moment, we will share with the community where we are in the development. At this point, though, I have nothing more that I can share on those titles.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
