Last week, Nintendo’s Wii Shop Channel and DSi Shop unexpectedly went offline – leading to several concerns that both digital storefronts might be gone for good. Well, we finally have a new update on the situation.
Nintendo has shared an official statement with Kotaku regarding the Wii Shop Channel and DSi Shop. Namely, the company shared that both were undergoing maintenance – although it did not elaborate further about why this maintenance was taking place:
“The Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi Shop are currently undergoing maintenance…We will provide an update at a later date.”
