It appears that new Nintendo Switch physical releases in Japan, and most likely everywhere else, will come with a notice informing users whether the game supports cloud saves.
The cloud save notice can be found on the back of the box. In the case of the game below, the notice says “This game is compatible with Nintendo Switch Online’s Save Data Cloud Backup.”
