The GFK has published their list of bestselling games in the UK for the week ending in April 30th, giving us our first sales data for Nintendo Switch Sports.
According to GFK’s data, Nintendo Switch Sports topped the UK boxed sales charts last week, and has become the third biggest launch for Nintendo’s sports series in the region behind Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort.
GFK also notes that the game has performed a fair bit better than some other recent party games on Switch, selling twice as much as Mario Party Superstars and eight times as much as Just Dance 2022. It also sold six times as much as Ring Fit Adventure, Nintendo’s other sports/fitness themed game on Switch.
Other Nintendo titles that made the Top Ten list include Pokemon Legends Arceus at #5, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at #6, Kirby And The Forgotten Land at #9 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons at #10
