Had a blast with Ori and The Blind Forest: Definitive Edition, and want to see its sequel Ori and the Will of the Wisps hit Nintendo Switch too? Well, the road there might be an uphill battle…
During a recent Reddit AMA, the series’ developer Moon Studios responded to some requests for a possible Switch release of the title. Unfortunately, the company had nothing to share on bringing the sequel over to Switch currently – and even if they did, Will of the Wisps would most likely never run as smoothly on Switch as the first game did:
“We love the Switch! But right now we don’t have anything to share when it comes to Ori and the Will of the Wisps port. If it were to ever happen though I can tell you that it would be extremely difficult port to make it run at 60fps that’s for sure!”
It looks like Switch fans of the series will just have to keep praying and waiting for the foreseeable future. We’ll report back if we hear more.
