Pokemon Company Rep Estimates Pokemon Sword/Shield’s Wild Area Is The Size Of Two Breath Of The Wild Regions

For the past few days, various news outlets have been posting their hands on impressions for the first few hours of Pokemon Sword And Shield.

In an article on the preview posted by Metro, the Pokemon representative in attendance mentioned an interesting detail about the game’s Wild Area. Apparently, it is estimated to be about the size of two regions from The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For some, this may sound like quite a bold claim as Breath Of The Wild is well known for having a massive and interesting open world to explore.

That said, combined with the previously revealed Wild Area map, it doesn’t seem all that farfetched for this comparison to be accurate. Even so, we will likely have to wait till the game is released before we can know for sure.
