Pokemon Fans: National Dex Died Because Of Curry Dex In Sword And Shield

During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, we learned that it was possible to prepare different types of curry in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Although many Pokemon fans were excited to make up to 100 different types of curry, supporters of #BringBackNationalDex, who want Pokemon Sword and Shield to include all previously released Pokemon, were not very pleased with it.

These supporters blamed the inclusion of making curry for cutting back the National Dex and have started to voice their opinion on Twitter:

“We lost the National Dex for the Curry Dex”

“THERE’S A CURRY DEX BUT NO NATIONAL DEX!?!”

“Dude gamefreak said “national dex? Okay curry dex it is”“

“Smash: We heard you like Sans so we give you Sans

Pokemon: We heard you like National dex so we give you curry rice dex“

“WE CAN HAVE FULL CURRY DEX, BUT NOT FULL NATIONAL DEX I think I’m going to DIE LAUGHING LMAOOOOOo”

Some use sarcasm to expressed their thoughts:

“whenever people reply to masuda with bring back national dex, he kills one pokemon and cook them into a new curry recipe for the cookdex.“

“They cut the National Dex so every Pokemon would have a unique animation while making curry. Just when you think they can’t dig themselves even deeper, they show us even more stuff that’s been common in games for 15 years…as NEW features. SMH…“

“This is just what I needed to get hyped for Pokemon Sword & Shield again. Who needs a National Dex when I can make curry and complete my Currydex!“
