While the US gets to enjoy Pokemon GO Fest Chicago on July 22, Japan will have its own Pokemon GO Stadium event on August 14, 2017.
Pokemon GO Stadium will be taking place at Yokohama Stadium on August 14th between 6pm to 9pm. According to the official website, it’s “scheduled to run about once every 15 minutes, with tickets valid for one program only”.
We aren’t really sure what exactly is going to happen at Pokemon GO Stadium, except with the tagline “have a blast together with everyone playing Pokémon GO!”
Unlike Pokemon GO Fest Chicago, entry is completely free of charge to trainers. However, you’ll need to sign up in advance and pray you’ll get a ticket, as lucky participants will be chosen by a lottery system.
The entry deadline for Pokemon GO Stadium is July 24, 2017 10:00am Tokyo Time. For more details on Pokemon GO Stadium and to sign up for participation, please click here.
