The Pokemon Company has shared details for a Pokeball shaped hotel in Japan.
This unique experience is a collaboration between the Pokemon Company and NOT A HOTEL Co, meant to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the franchise as well as the third anniversary of Pokemon Sleep. The “Pokeball Hotel” in question is a quite literally 3-meter diameter Pokeball sitting on a lakeshore in Tomakomai, Hokkaido. It comes equipped with a bed, bathroom, and other required amenities. The interior of the Pokeball will also feature lighting effects based on Pokemon selected from an installed tablet.
The Pokemon Company is currently holding a lottery campaign where lucky winners will get a chance to stay at the hotel. With more details available via the press release here.
