Pokemon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon Have Finally Outsold Black 2 And White 2

Nintendo has released updated lifetime sales figures for mainline Pokemon games released on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS.

One thing worth pointing out is that Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon have finally outsold Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon lifetime sales are now at 8.57 million copies, as compared to Black 2 and White 2’s 8.52 million copies.

See the changes in sales figures from Q2 2019 to Q3 2019 below:

Black/White: 15.64 million

Black 2/White 2: 8.52 million

X/Y: 1.64 million -> 16.42 million

Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire: 14.21 million -> 14.23 million

Sun/Moon: 16.16 million -> 16.17 million

Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon: 8.47 million -> 8.57 million

Let’s GO Pikachu/Let’s GO Eevee: 10.98 million -> 11.28 million
