Pokemon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon Sells 1.2 Million Copies At Launch In Japan

Famitsu has announced Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon have sold a combined total of 1,199,814 copies in its first three days in Japan.

The figure includes download cards, physical copies, and Double Pack units sold. It does not include purchases made directly on the Nintendo eShop. During the same period of time, 40,582 units of Nintendo 3DS family systems were sold, an increase from the 18,687 last week.

In comparison, Pokemon Sun and Moon sold 1,905,107 copies at launch in Japan, while Pokemon X and Y sold 2,096,000 copies.
