If you thought Super Mario getting his own breakfast cereal was a little bizarre, your world is about to get much weirder.
On the other end of the gaming landscape, Microsoft and Unilever will be teaming up to produce ‘Xbox Lynx’ personal care products for Australia. In particular, the line-up will include such necessities like antiperspirant, body wash, and deodorant.
Of course, the products will all feature a green tint (seen above) – along with a citrus scent. Xbox ANZ boss Tania Chee says that those using the Xbox Lynx line will be able to “power up” before heading outside.
It’s certainly not an unexpected move for Microsoft – as they might be trying to appeal to their mostly teenage-male Xbox audience. If this venture is successful, it would be interesting to see if Nintendo or Sony follow suit with their own unorthodox product partnerships like this!
