As with all Pokemon games, many players are quick to draft up amazing fan-art of their favorite characters and Pokemon after release day. Of course, this is no different for Pokemon Sword/Shield – and one interesting fan tribute seems to have recently garnered widespread appeal from the community.
The art in question originates from Japanese user @Lanbook, who shared a humorous animated loop of Bea (the Fighting gym leader in Pokemon Sword) endlessly hugging her chain of Falinks (a new Pokemon comprising of several smaller parts). You can check it out below:
It definitely has a unique charm to it, especially since the often-stoic Bea has a softer portrayal here. Likewise, many fans were simply praising the animation for how seamless and addictive it was to watch over and over again:
As usual, the Pokemon fan-art community is full of surprises such as these. We’ll report back on more interesting Pokemon tidbits in the future (whenever we stop watching this loop), so stay tuned!
