Wonder what Pokemon Sword/Shield art director James Turner doodles in his spare time? Well, ponder no more.
What you see above is Turner’s strange yet hilariously captivating rendition of Nintendo’s Kirby with buff arms – which he recently shared with his fans on Twitter. Turner is no stranger to drawing Kirby (and some Pokemon) in bizarre situations, but this is definitely one of the weirdest pieces we’ve personally seen from the designer to date!
You can take a closer look at the artwork in all of its glory below:
Rather than being perturbed, Turner’s fans responded with great amusement at the concept. One even joked that the official buff form of King Dedede (from Kirby Triple Deluxe) would no longer be alone.
What do YOU think of Turner’s buff Kirby? Would it be a hilarious concept in an official Kirby game, or will you have nightmares tonight? Feel free to share your thoughts below!
