As many fans have come to expect by now, Sakurai is infamous for working long hours on the beloved Super Smash Bros. franchise. That doesn’t mean that he’s lacking time for his own fun, however!
Recently, Sakurai shared his personalized statistics from the ‘Your PlayStation 2019‘ website – which reveal that he had played 242 PlayStation games during 2019 alone! He doesn’t specify the exact games that he played here, but that’s still pretty incredible for someone who works on Smash Bros. all year around!
This isn’t even taking into account how many Nintendo Switch games Sakurai has dived into for research or leisure, such as Fire Emblem: Three Houses! It looks like the man is working hard and playing hard, indeed!
