Earlier this week, the entry for Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Brazilian ratings board was updated to include a Switch version, sparking speculation that it could be coming to the hybrid console.
Unfortunately, it seems that this update was an error, and the Switch has since been removed from the game’s listing. Some speculate that this error was made when the ratings board was updating the original Red Dead Redemption entry, which was recently ported to Switch.
That said, perhaps this is for the best, as this original rumor was met with skepticism from many about whether the console would be able to handle the game without compromising graphics or performance. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
