To coincide with the release of Metroid Dread, the Ridley and Dark Samus amiibo figures will be receiving reprints at specific retailers.

The Ridley amiibo reprint will be available exclusively at Gamestop, while the Dark Samus amiibo reprint will be available exclusively at Best Buy. Pre-orders for both reprints are now live at the respective retailers, and will release the same day as Metroid Dread on October 8th.

Currently, it is not known whether these two amiibo will have special functionality with Metroid Dread, in the same way that the new Samus and E.M.M.I. amiibo do. We will be sure to report back with more details as they come.
