Rumor: Best Buy Might Have Just Leaked Joker’s Smash Ultimate Render

No this isn’t an early April Fool’s joke…we think.

With the Smash 3.0 update just around the corner, it seems that Best Buy might have accidentally leaked the official render of the game’s first Fighter’s Pass DLC character Joker.

The image in question can be found by navigating to Best Buy’s “Weekly Ads” page, and scrolling through until you reach the Switch section, where an ad for the Smash Ultimate Fighter’s pass can be seen with Joker taking center stage.

While we’re not sure how long that image will stay up now that the leak has gone public, here’s a screencap of it found on Reddit.

Although we here at Nintendosoup always caution fans to take leaks with a grain of salt, this render looks pretty legit and does come from an official retailer. Does this mean that more Smash Ultimate news is just around the corner? Who knows? We will bring further updates as the come.
