Earlier today, Bloomberg published their own insights into the rumored new Switch models allegedly being planned by Nintendo.
According to their anonymous sources, a new less expensive version of the Switch is planned to launch by the end of June, presumably the “Switch Lite” discussed by other analysts and insiders. These sources also claim that contrary to popular belief, a more powerful “Switch Pro” model is NOT in the works. Instead, they said that the current Switch model will be receiving a “Modest Upgrade”, although they did not elaborate on what exactly this would entail.
Like with all rumors, Nintendosoup cautions readers to take these claims with a grain of salt. Thankfully since an exact window for release was given, we should know if this particular rumor is true or not in a couple of months time.
