A new rumor has surfaced about a new live-action videogame adaptation in the works at Netflix.

As reported by Variety, a live-action adaptation of the Persona series is being planned by the streaming service. Christopher Monfette, who worked on Star Trek: Picard, will be the writer, showrunner, and executive producer. They will also be working 21 Laps, the production company headed by Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy, and SEGA’s Toru Nakahara will also be on board as an executive producer.

At this stage, it is not known which of the many Persona games this adaptation will be based on, or if it will be its own original take on the series. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
