Last week, The Pokemon Company hosted a Pokemon Direct where more details about the upcoming Pokemon Home storage service were shared.
During the Direct, the following graphic was shown explaining how Pokemon Home would function for transferring Pokemon from other Pokemon titles into Pokemon Sword And Shield.
As you can see, the graphic lists Pokemon Bank as well as Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee as games which Pokemon Home is compatible with, allowing you to bring Pokemon from those games to Pokemon Sword And Shield provided they are in the Galar Dex or included in the Expansion Pass’ Free Updates.
However, after the direct aired, fans quickly noticed that one particular game was absent from the graphic: Pokemon GO. Way back when Pokemon Home was first announced, Pokemon GO had been included among its compatible titles, as you can see below:
Due to Pokemon GO‘s absence from the latest graphic, fans are now wondering if it was a simple mistake on the Pokemon Company’s part, or if Pokemon GO compatibility has been perhaps removed or delayed for Pokemon Home.
As the service is due to launch next month, we will likely hear more details about Pokemon Home very soon, including whether Pokemon GO compatibility will still be featured. We be sure to bring the latest updates as they come.
