Rumor: Pokemon Scarlet/Violet’s Codename Could Have Been “Titan”

An interesting tidbit about Pokemon Scarlet And Violet have seemingly been uncovered from the games’ official website.

The tidbit in question is what appears to be the internal codename for the games. As shared by abcboy101 and 3clipse_tt on Twitter, inspecting the official website link on the day of the announcement had the games labelled as “titan”, before this was replaced by the “sv” acronym for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. It is believed that “titan” was therefore the internal codename for the two games before the official reveal.

This discovery has fueled a bit of speculation from fans wondering what the codename could be referring to, although the rumored codenames for previous Pokemon titles often gave little indication as to what they were about. Stay tuned for more details as they come.
