As reported previously, 2021 marks the 30th anniversary of SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. While the company has been silent about any new game projects amidst rumors of a Sonic Colors remaster floating around, it looks like some fresh leaks might be revealing more of the company’s anniversary plans!
Sogamely and ReplayMultimedia, two French retailer websites, have recently put up listings for a mysterious “Sonic Collection” game release. AS at the time of writing, however, this listing is only for PlayStation 4 – with no sign of a Switch version or Xbox One version right now.
As always, we urge our readers to treat these retail listings with skepticism. We’ll just have to wait and see what SEGA really has planned for Sonic’s 30th birthday.
