XSeed Games and Marvelous Europe have released a new trailer for Rune Factory 5.
As the name suggests, the new “Story Trailer” provides a brief introduction to the game’s plot, which involves the main character starting a new life in the town of Rigbarth. Digital versions of the game are now up for pre-order, including a Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the same bonuses featured in the Japanese Digital Deluxe release.

A new chapter begins this March 25th as Rigbarth opens to all adventurers! Combining farming and family life with monster battling, Rune Factory 5 is the latest adventure in the critically acclaimed Rune Factory series to weave an epic story that’s accessible to new players and series veterans alike.
The Rune Factory 5 Digital Deluxe edition will retail for £59.99/€69.99 and include a digital copy of the game alongside The Rune Factory 4 Marriage Candidates Outfits Set. Additionally, anyone pre-ordering either the Digital or the Digital Deluxe Edition via the Nintendo eShop will receive The Holy Knight and the Bibliophile Swimsuit Set, based on Forte and Kiel’s beach outfits from Rune Factory 4, as well as the New Ranger Care Package Item Pack.
Physical pre-orders are also currently open for the Rune Factory 5 Standard and Limited Editions. At participating retailers, with purchase of either Edition, fans will receive an adorable Wooly Plush Bag Tag as a pre-order bonus. This Wooly Plush is inspired by the iconic, and beloved, Wooly character from the Rune Factory franchise and will only be available with pre-orders while supplies last at participating retailers across Europe and Australia. In the UK the Wooly Plush Bag Tag will be exclusive to pre-orders at GAME.
The physical Limited Edition of Rune Factory 5 will have an RRP of £64.99 / €79,99 and contain a physical copy of the game alongside a glorious Steelbook case, a soft back art book featuring artwork from the game, and the “Melodies of Norad” soundtrack CD consisting of music from the Rune Factory franchise. Additionally, the Limited Edition will contain in-game content in the form of The Rune Factory 4 Marriage Candidates Outfits Set. Further details will be available through the Rune Factory website, Rune Factory Europe Twitter channel, and on the Marvelous Games website.
