Searching Nintendo In China Comes Up With Nonsensical Results

Baidu, the largest search engine in China, seems to be throwing up some weird results when users search for Nintendo.

While the official Nintendo Hong Kong website comes up as the first result on Baidu, the title given for the website may vary at times. These include “Legend of Zelda on Smartphone”, “BOTW Shrines”, “Download the Legend of Zelda”,  “DL Mario Odyssey Chinese”, “Octopath Traveler Chinese”, “LoZ Lost Woods”, and “Download Super Mario Odyssey”.

It is very strange to see these titles for an official Nintendo website, especially when The Legend of Zelda isn’t on smartphones yet and there’s no official Chinese localization for Octopath Traveler.

What do you think?
