After serving Singapore’s gaming community for 14 years, one of Singapore’s beloved videogame retailers will sadly be shuttering its physical doors forever.
Funzsquare announced today that it would be closing down its one and only physical location in Far East Plaza, at 14 Scotts Road. The store’s final day of operations will take place on 23 February 2021 – so local fans may want to pay one more visit before then.
After its closure, Funzsquare will continue its operations as a fully online store over here. Nevertheless, it’s still a sad occasion when local gamers to lose another space where they can hang out with fellow fans.
The NintendoSoup team wishes Funzsquare all the best in their future endeavors.
[UPDATE: Funzsquare has announced that it will be re-opening its physical operations at a new location! Read more details over here.]
