As reported previously, The Pokemon Company has been installing various manhole covers with special Pokemon themes across Japan as part of a larger initiative to boost tourism across the country. Well, even more are on their way to brighten up the country’s streets!
Japan’s Hokkaido region has revealed that 6 new manhole covers featuring Vulpix and Alolan Vulpix designs will be installed in various cities to celebrate “Vulpix Day”. These new designs join 35 previous Vulpix designs installed within the region in the past – ever since the Fox Pokemon was first designated as Hokkaido’s official Pokemon ambassador.
