Splatoon 2 Is About To Surpass Splatoon’s Lifetime Sales In Japan

This week is about to mark another historic milestone for Splatoon 2 as the game is about to sell more copies than its Wii U prequel.

According to Media Create charts, Splatoon’s lifetime sales currently stand at 1,532,079 while Splatoon 2 is pegged at 1,460,370. As long as Splatoon 2 has moved at least 72,000 copies last week, it would have surpass Splatoon’s lifetime sales in Japan in the span of 5 months. The week before this Splatoon 2 sold 50,000 copies.
