It looks like the Kingdom Hearts series might be cooking up something behind the scenes once again!
Square Enix has recently opened up new job applications for UI Designer, Techical Artist, and Effects Designer roles at the company. In particular, the roles pertain to “HD development” for the Kingdom Hearts series – although no further info about this supposed project was revealed.
You can check out the listings for yourself on Square Enix’s website over here.
While Kingdom Hearts 3 seems to be giving the Switch a complete miss for now, it will be interesting to see if this new HD project will hit the platform in the future. After all, the series producer Tetsuya Nomura hasn’t completely shot down the possibility of the series landing on Switch – despite the challenges of its weaker hardware.
We’ll report back if we hear more in the future. Stay tuned!
