Previously, WayForward revealed the opening animation for Shantae 5 – which was animated by famous Japanese company Studio Trigger. If you’ve been hungering for more artwork in the same flashy style, you’re in luck.
Some time after the opening’s reveal, Studio Trigger also released never-before-seen artwork for both Shantae and Risky Boots. It’s not clear if these are just concept pieces, or if the game will have assets (e.g. mugshots) in a similar style – but they do look fantastic!
We’ll report back when we hear more about Shantae 5. In the meantime, you can check out our previous coverage of the game over here, and a possible Super Smash Bros. tease that the opening might be hiding over here.
