Super Mario Odyssey Chinese Localization Goes Horribly Wrong
Super Mario Odyssey is the first Nintendo published and developed Switch title to receive official Traditional and Simplified Chinese localization.
Although this isn’t the first time Nintendo has localized games in Chinese, gamers living in Hong Kong have pointed out two cases of shoddy work done by Nintendo.
In the settings menu, the “Load” feature has been mistranslated as “Upload” in Simplified Chinese.
