SciresM, a respected figure in the Switch homebrew and hacking community, has announced his retirement.
In a post on his official Github page, SciresM confirmed that he would be retiring from work in the public hacking scene due to an increase in personal responsibilities and lack of time to dedicate to the hobby. This includes ending work on Atmosphere, his custom firmware project for the Switch after eight and a half years of active development.
Aside from Switch homebrew, SciresM was also an active figure in the Pokemon datamining community, sharing details about Pokemon stats and movesets that would otherwise be incredibly difficult to compile through regular means. He also worked on the developed of PKHex, the tool used for modifying Pokemon data in the games.
