A new rumor has surfaced about potential new games that could be added to the Switch Online Expansion Pack’s Gamecube catalogue.
This speculation comes from an image found on retailer Walmart’s website, which advertises the Switch Online service along with other Nintendo offerings. Eagle-eyed viewers spotted two games on the image that are not currently available on the service: Pikmin 2 and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is believed that the image has accidentally leaked that both these games are therefore being added to the service in the near future.
That said, it is possible that the inclusion of these games was simply an error on Walmart’s part, particularly if this is original material created for the site and not given to them by Nintendo. As such, we caution readers to take this with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
